In coordination with the Policy Advisory Committee, the Department has developed a series of Issue Papers that serve as educational tools to increase awareness of how important issues affect our populations. These Issue Papers also are used to help with our strategic planning process to ensure we continue to meet real needs for real people. In the future, the Department and the PAC will develop more Issue Papers as appropriate.
