Other Drug Options Brown Bag Assessment Programs are conducted at senior health fairs and similar venues. People are given bags in which to bring all their supplements and medications, both prescription and non-prescription. A pharmacist advises of any potential conflicts, interactions, and possible ways to improve medication usage or lower costs. Advice and Assistance Advise, and provide information and literature, about manufacturer, Medicare-approved, organization and other drug discount cards and programs. Be aware of and advise when appropriate about the advisability and limitations of obtaining drugs from sources outside the U.S. Outreach Offers talks and programs at organization meetings, senior fairs, senior centers and similar venues to inform about our programs, the help we may be able to provide, explanations of relevant government programs, and other information that may be helpful.
