Medicare is health insurance for people 65 and over or younger individuals with certain disabilities.

• The State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP) provides information and assistance to New Mexicans to maximize Medicare benefits
• The Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP) helps Medicare and Medicaid beneficiaries identify and protect themselves against fraud, abuse and scams
